We recently sat down with Christopher to find out more about him and what he enjoys doing in his spare time.
Who is Christopher Bloedel? – Where do you come from, what is your background, what do you do?
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I live in a southwestern suburb of Milwaukee with my wife, Shelley, and two kids, Bennett and Savannah. My college experience was a little unconventional as I worked full-time during 2nd and 3rd shifts in a warehouse to pay my way. It taught me a lot of great life lessons and allowed me to graduate from college relatively debt-free.
I started in the relocation business over 18 years ago in the cost-of-living and policy consulting arena. In 2014, I made the transition to consulting and selling services for a relocation management company. My career has included leadership positions in business development, account management and operations.
How long have you been with CapRelo, and what is your favorite part about your position?
I joined the company in early March of 2017 to expand CapRelo’s presence and grow its business in the Midwest. I enjoy the teamwork and knowledge sharing at CapRelo. My goal was to find a strong, customer-focused relocation management company to work for and CapRelo certainly fits that description. Its ranking in the Baker’s Dozen Survey proves CapRelo’s dedication to customers, partners and employees.
What do you do in your spare time, what are some of your interests?
I’m an outdoorsman that enjoys spending time at my cabin in Central Wisconsin. I also enjoy lifting weights and archery. I’ve been a coach/manager for various youth sports leagues (baseball, softball, football, basketball) for the past 8 years. I’m an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks fan too.
